WhatsApp order bot
Take the order and get paid in the same chat
Most selling on WhatsApp stalls at the same place: the customer says yes, and then there is a scramble for a till number, a screenshot, and someone checking whether the money actually arrived.
Where orders usually leak
Between “I’ll take it” and money in your account there are four or five manual steps, each one a place the order can die. You send the till number and they pay later. They send a screenshot you cannot verify. You lose track of who has paid, so you either chase a customer who already paid or ship to one who never did.
None of that is a selling problem. It is a bookkeeping problem that happens to occur inside a sales conversation.
One chat, start to finish
- The customer asks about an item and is answered from your catalog
- They confirm quantity and delivery details in the same conversation
- Aisha sends a secure payment link — card, Paystack or M-Pesa
- The order is marked paid when the provider confirms, not when a screenshot arrives
- The money lands in your wallet, withdrawable from KES 10
Orders that are placed but not paid get followed up automatically, which is the step almost nobody does by hand.
Not a numbered-menu bot
“Reply 1 for prices, 2 for delivery” makes a customer work through a phone tree to give you money. Aisha answers in plain language, takes the details in whatever order the customer gives them, and asks only for what is missing.
What we do not do
Aisha does not message strangers. It answers people who message you, and follows up with people who were already talking to you. There is no bulk outbound sending, because that is what gets a WhatsApp number banned.
Card and M-Pesa PIN details are handled entirely by the payment provider; we receive a confirmation and a reference. If you need the answering side rather than the paying side, see WhatsApp auto reply, or the use cases for a specific trade.
Common questions
- Will my customers know they're talking to a bot?
- They are told an assistant replies on your behalf, and it writes in a normal conversational voice rather than a menu of numbered options. You can read every conversation and take over at any point.
- How does the customer pay?
- Aisha sends a secure payment link in the chat — card, Paystack or M-Pesa depending on your plan — and marks the order paid when the provider confirms it. Card and PIN details never touch our systems.
- Where does the money go?
- Into your Aisha wallet, which you can withdraw from at a minimum of KES 10. Payments your customers make are yours; we never hold or reverse them.
- Do I need a website or an app?
- No. The catalog lives in Aisha and the whole order happens inside the WhatsApp chat your customer is already in.
